Clarkston Cares for Military Families seeks to provide support for the families of military service personnel that are living in the Clarkston area.  We seek to provide support to military families throughout the military member’s deployment cycle.  We will do this by understanding the needs of the military families and, by working as a community, help meet those needs.

Clarkston Cares for Military Families, or more succinctly, Clarkston Cares,  is an informal group of citizen volunteers from in and around Clarkston, Michigan whose only objective is to say “Thank You” to our military heroes by doing whatever they can to support the families of military personnel while they are away from home defending our nation.  They do not accept any monetary compensation for their efforts.  Their only reward for this effort is the sense of satisfaction they experience from having done our part to express their appreciation to our nations’ military members.
